Whether it's for a wedding ceremony, business meeting or a private celebration, we have the perfect space to make your event unique.
History & Heritage
The Town Hall is a Grade II listed building located on Sheep Street in the Market Town of Stratford-upon-Avon. With records of the site dating back to the 17th century, it truly is a stunning segment of history. Though a number of changes have occurred throughout the centuries.
The current building, which is considered to have been designed by Robert Newman in the Palladian style, was
completed in 1769.
The Spaces
Within the historic walls, there are many priceless pieces of art, antiques and crystal chandeliers. The venue is adorned with red carpets, luxurious fabrics and period features which give a sense of grandeur -even before the flowers and décor is added.
We have a suite of rooms which make the space versatile for weddings and events of all sizes.
On the ground floor, there is The Mayors Parlour, The Council Chamber and Committee Rooms which are wonderful spaces for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions or meetings.
After stepping up the incredible staircase, you will enter the Ballroom which is guaranteed to take your guests breath away.
The building is fully accessible, licensed for live entertainment with a finishing kitchen.
Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council
Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council have a number of important responsibilities including the care of the stunning Town Hall. The Town Council Team are based within the offices of the building and are delighted to support by arranging viewings and managing your booking. You then have the freedom to select your own suppliers, book your ceremony and plan your day exactly as you have always imagined. Though we do not have an on site Co-ordinator we are on hand to answer any questions as you plan.
