Our friendly team are delighted to help you book your Wedding at Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall but we do not have a Wedding Co-Ordinator. We will provide a stunning wedding venue and give you the freedom to choose your own suppliers and plan your wedding exactly as you have always imagined. You'll have flexibility to select your favourite foods, table centre and entertainment that reflect you as a couple! Some couples opt to privately arrange a Wedding Co-ordinator or Planner while others love the opportunity to manage every element themselves.

Before you can get married, you have to give notice to a Superintendent Registrar at least 28 days before the date of your ceremony As a venue, if we have the date free, we can accommodation weddings within this time. However most couples plan their wedding for 12 - 18 months but have had ceremonies and wedding receptions on 6-12 weeks notice also. Get in touch with us to check your date with us and of course with your favourite suppliers.

Get in touch with our Team who will confirm your date and send you a Booking Application Form with a copy of our Terms & Conditions. You will then be issued an invoice for your deposit which is 50% of the hire fee. Your booking will be provisional until this is paid. The balance is then due 2 weeks before your Wedding Date. Then you can begin the exciting part - planning!

We have different venue hire costs for different wedding types. Get in touch with us through our contact form with your ideal date and we would be delighted to share our ceremony and wedding reception rates with you. We provide your Wedding venue with furniture, table linen and water closet facilities with one member of staff. Your food, beverage and décor will be additional to this and paid directly to your suppliers.

We offer a venue only hire. We will provide a stunning wedding venue and give you the freedom to choose your own suppliers and plan your wedding exactly as you have always imagined. You'll have flexibility to select your favourite foods, table centre and entertainment that reflect you as a couple! We do include tables, chairs, linen and water closet facilities.

No, we as a venue do not charge corkage. However you will need to check this with your caterers/bar company as they may do.

Yes, you are welcome to add your own style to Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall. We love to see the style of each of our couples shine through. Though as a Grade II listed building we must be careful to preserve this historic building - this means that nails, hooks, screws or tacks cannot be driven into walls, pillars, woodwork, floors or furniture. It is also not possible to affix posters etc can be posted by gum, paste or adhesive. Confetti, glitter, or streamers are not permitted however rose petals or similar biodegradable material may be used. Rice is permitted but outside the Town Hall only.

Yes, you are welcome to have live bands or musicians, a DJs or play your own music.

There are four options for your wedding ceremony at Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall; The Committee Room accommodates up to 44 guests. The Council Chamber accommodates up to 56 guests. The Committee Room & Council Chamber combined accommodates up to 115 guests. The Ballroom can accommodate up to 130 guests. These numbers include 2 registrars and wedding couple. If you are celebrating your Wedding Breakfast at another location is it possible to have additional time here at The Town Hall so you can enjoy a drinks reception after your ceremony.

The Ballroom can accommodate up to 80 guests for Wedding Breakfast comfortably.

If after your Wedding Breakfast, you'd like Evening Guests to join in the celebrations up to XX guests are permitted.

After you've chosen your preferred space here at Stratford-upon-Avon Town Hall, you will also need to check availability of and book the Registrars separately.
